Adjusting Views & Sorting
As your inventory grows, switching display layouts, sort orders, and grouping makes discovering belongings effortless. This guide explains item browsing in Overview; for spatial arrangements in the forest map, see Forest Map & Gardening Mode.
Switching Display Modes
- Tap Overview in the bottom navigation bar.
- Locate the view toggle button in the top toolbar.
- Tap to switch between Grid, List, or Compact cards.
Different modes alter information density on your screen. Test a few records to find the layout that best suits your daily reading habits.
Sorting Items
- Open the sort menu in Overview.
- Choose a sorting criterion: Name, Date Created, Date Modified, Quantity, or Expiration Date.
- Return to the list to see results immediately.
Different sort orders suit different routines: sort by Name for quick lookups, by Date Modified to inspect recent organizing sessions, by Quantity for stocktaking, or by Expiration Date to manage perishables.
Grouping by Attributes
When grouping options are available, organize your list by Category, Woodland, Location, Status, Expiration, or Creation Date. Grouping segments your active records into clean visual sections without altering item data or locations.
To return to a unified linear stream, reopen the grouping menu and choose “None”.
Narrowing Down with Filters
Sorting reorganizes existing items; filtering hides items that do not match specific criteria. Use the filter funnel icon in Overview to isolate specific categories, locations, tags, or statuses. When finished, clear active filters to restore your full view.
