Compared to other cataloging apps, I truly resonate with MononoMori's aesthetic and mindful philosophy! However, for items with standard barcodes like books and household medicines, scanning a barcode is often faster and more accurate than photo recognition. It would be fantastic to have a dedicated barcode scanning feature alongside AI vision, making batch organizing of books and first-aid kits even smoother!

Thank you so much for your kind words and valuable suggestion! For items with universal barcodes (such as ISBNs for books or standard medical barcodes), barcode scanning indeed provides higher accuracy and deterministic data, making it a wonderful complement to our AI visual recognition.

The main challenge lies in database coverage across various categories and regions, as well as API terms and commercial usage constraints. We are actively investigating reliable data sources.

Books (ISBN lookup) will be our first priority for prototyping, fetching titles, authors, and publisher details in a snap. Once the technical flow is validated, we will seamlessly integrate it with our AI workflow. In the meantime, you can also leverage AI Batch Recognition when organizing multiple items at once 🌿✨

Our household possessions naturally fall into "durables" and "consumables," and they often depend on each other—for example, a wireless keyboard relies on batteries, a camera needs spare batteries, a coffee maker needs filter papers, and a printer needs ink cartridges. It would be amazing to link related items and receive automated timeline reminders for replacement or restocking, keeping maintenance effortless and organized!

Currently in MononoMori, you can utilize the "Consumables" tag + lifespan/expiry reminders for basic upkeep (such as tagging batteries with an estimated replacement cycle).

The "Equipment ↔ Consumables" dependency you suggested elevates this into a mindful ecosystem: allowing the app to understand that a certain device relies on specific supplies. When consumables run low or reach their replacement cycle, the system can provide context-aware alerts tied directly to the relevant equipment. This holds immense potential across many everyday scenarios—from water pitcher filters to robot vacuum dust bags.

We have officially added the "Item Relationships & Dependency System" to our feature backlog. We will explore an elegant, friction-free design that avoids unnecessary complexity while delivering intuitive convenience. Thank you for this inspiring idea 🌿✨

Stumbled across MononoMori, and it is by far the most aesthetically pleasing and comprehensive storage app I have ever used! Perfect for organizing anime merch, BJD dolls, stationery, and illustration collections.

I had hoped for total price tracking across baskets and locations to monitor expenditures by IP or shop, as well as a more elegant, magazine-style layout in the Attachment Treasury for admiring multi-angle photos of my treasures.

I truly love this app—especially the feature allowing me to write a story for each small item. Wishing you all the best!
