Collections & Hobby Tracking: A Palm-Sized Museum 🎨

“Collections are condensed time; hobbies are passion. MononoMori preserves both with care.”

For collectors and creators, MononoMori becomes more than a tool—it becomes a “Viewing App”.

🏛️ Digital Museum: Figures, Sneakers, Records

1. Custom Fields

Collectors have specific needs. Customize your category template (Pro feature):

  • Figures: Scale (1/7), Series Name, Original Price.
  • Sneakers: Size (US 9), Colorway, Condition (Deadstock/Used).
  • Records: Press Year, Label, Grading (NM/VG+).

2. Immersive Display

  • Cover Photo: Take a beautiful “official” photo.
  • Gallery: Enter the list and switch to “Grid View”.
  • Your app interface becomes a stunning display wall. Scrolling through it is pure joy.

3. Circulation & Farewell

When you decide to sell a piece to fund a new one:

  • Do not just delete.
  • Perform a “Farewell Ritual”.
  • Select reason “Sold/Traded”.
  • Record in memo: “Stayed with me for 3 years, sold to a friend for $XXX.”
  • It stays in your “Memory Forest” forever, preserving the memory and transaction record.

🧶 Hobby Materials: Craft, Painting, Models

“Do I have 0.3mm pla-plate?” “Is the red paint dried out?” — Don’t let searching kill your creativity.

1. Color & Spec Management

For consumables like paint, fabric, wire:

  • Color Tags: Add tags like #Red, #Blue, #Metallic. Searching tags shows all alternatives when you need a specific color.
  • Spec Memo: Note 10ml, 50x50cm in the name or memo clearly.

2. Stock Alerts

  • Use the Quantity field.
  • Update remaining amount (estimate) after use.
  • Before going to the art supply store, filter by “Quantity < 1” for precise restocking.

3. The “Inspiration Box”

  • Create a Space/Location called “To-Do Project”.
  • Put kits you plan to build or materials you hoarded in there.
  • Seeing this digital box motivates you to finish projects.

💡 Collector’s Tip

  1. Serial Numbers: For limited editions, photograph the plate showing No. 088/500.
  2. Proof of Purchase: Save receipts or certificates as secondary images. Crucial for future resale value.
  3. Valuation: Periodically Export Data to CSV to sum up the total value of your collection (for insurance or just satisfaction).
