MononoMori features an intuitive navigation design, allowing you to move easily between different functional areas and quickly find the items and information you need. This guide will help you master all basic navigation techniques.

🏠 Bottom Tab Bar

Your primary way to navigate in MononoMori

Four Main Tabs:

  • 🌲 Forest: Manage your Space structure and item locations
  • 📦 Items: View all items list, supports smart filtering
  • 🌙 Memory: View precious memories of parted items
  • ⚙️ Settings: Personalization, data management, and preferences

Usage Tips:

  • Tap any tab icon to quickly switch
  • The current page’s tab is highlighted with a special color
  • Double-tap the current tab to return to the top of the page
  • Tab state is automatically saved and restored after app restart

🔍 Global Search

Quickly jump to any item

Search Entry Points:

  • Search box at the top of the Home page
  • Swipe down on any page to show the search bar
  • Swipe down from the Home screen

Search Features:

  • 🔤 Text Search: Enter keywords for item names, tags, or notes
  • 📊 Smart Suggestions: Real-time display of matching results
  • 🕒 History: Quick access to previous searches

Search Result Navigation:

  • Click any result to jump directly to item details
  • Displays the full path of the item (Space > Location)
  • Supports batch operations within search results

Navigation Path:

🏠 Home → 🌲 Space (Woodland) → 🌳 Location (Tree) → 📦 Item Details

Forward Navigation:

  • Tap a Space card to enter inside
  • Tap a Location card (Tree) to view items within
  • Tap an Item card to view details

Backward Navigation:

  • 📱 iOS Swipe: Swipe right from the left edge of the screen
  • 🔙 Back Button: Tap the back arrow in the top-left corner
  • 🏠 Breadcrumbs: Tap any level in the top path to jump directly

🎯 Smart Location Selector

Quickly select target location when adding or moving items

Three-Level Selection Process:

  1. Select Space: Choose from all spaces
  2. Select Location: Choose a specific location within that space
  3. Confirm Selection: Finalize the location

Navigation Features:

  • 📍 Current Indicator: Green dot shows the currently selected item
  • 🗂️ Hierarchical Breadcrumbs: Shows “Space > Location” path at the top
  • 👆 Header Tap: Tap the header to select the current level itself
  • ↩️ Smart Return: Automatically remembers the last visited location

How to Use:

  • Tap a tag on any item card
  • Automatically jump to that tag’s aggregation page
  • View all items with the same tag

Usage Scenarios:

  • 🔍 Find similar items: Tap #electronics to see all electronic devices
  • 🎯 Status filtering: Tap #replace_needed to check items needing replacement
  • 📍 Location context: Tap #living_room for living room related items

Navigate via long-press and swipe

Long-Press Menu:

  • Long-press any Space, Location, or Item to show the quick action menu
  • Includes common functions like Edit, Move, Delete
  • Access advanced options directly without entering the details page

Swipe Actions:

  • Swipe Left: Show Edit and Delete buttons on items
  • Swipe Right: Go back on supported pages
  • Pull Down: Refresh content on list pages

🎛️ View Mode Switching

Forest Map ⇄ Space List:

  • View switch button at the top right of the Home page
  • Double-tap blank area to quickly toggle
  • Maintains current position and selection state

List Density Adjustment:

  • Enter “More” menu in Space List
