Mori Notes Privacy Policy

Mori Notes is a shopping list you hang on ropes, one tag at a time. What you write stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. We don't collect it, and we can't see it.

We collect no data

The App Store privacy label for Mori Notes says “Data Not Collected.” Each tag below covers one part of that.

One tag, one fact

  • No third-party SDKs

No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no accounts or sign-in. We run no servers of our own, and the app sends nothing to us.

  • Your lists live on your device

Ropes, tags and the things you've bought are saved on your iPhone.

  • iCloud sync

Syncing goes through your own private iCloud database. That data belongs to your Apple Account; we can't see or read it.

  • Widgets

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read a snapshot the app keeps on the same device. Nothing goes over the network.

  • One kind of notification

“Remind me when a seed sprouts.” It is scheduled on your device, and you can turn it off in the app’s settings.

  • No permissions asked

Mori Notes never asks for your camera, photos, location, contacts or microphone.

  • Siri and Shortcuts

“Hang a tag” runs on your device.

  • Sending a rope

A rope leaves your phone only when you tap Share. It goes as text or an image through the system share sheet, to whoever you choose, never through us.

  • Crash reports

Only if you turn on Share With App Developers in iOS does Apple pass us anonymous crash reports, through Xcode. They don’t tell us who you are.

Deleting your data

  1. Delete the app, and everything it saved on this device goes with it.
  2. To delete the copy in iCloud, open Settings › your Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage, then choose Mori Notes.
